Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete your order.CREDIT CARDS: We accept Visa , Mastercard , Maestro and Solo.
CHEQUES: You may also pay by cheque. Payments by cheque should be made payable to 'Melksham Groundcare Machinery' and sent to our main address. After receipt by us, please allow 5 working days for cheques to clear after which goods willl be dispatched (subject to stock availability).
All product prices are VAT inclusive.
Shipping And Handling
Delivery ChargesAll orders placed through the website that total £50 or more are delivered FREE OF CHARGE. This applies to UK Mainland addresses - by this we mean mainland England, Wales and Scotland with the following postcode exceptions:
*Highlands and Islands of Scotland - postcodes AB31-38, AB41-42, AB43-45, HS,IV, KA27-28,KW, PA20-403, PH15-44, PH60 ZE.
*Northern Ireland - postcode BT.
*Isle of Man - postcode IM.
*Isle of Wight - all postcodes.
Supplemental Carriage and Packing Charge - £20.00 for first 20kg, then 54p per kg thereafter.
Larger items may be subject to a pallet surcharge.
This is given as an estimate and the charge may be much less for smaller items. Please enquire before ordering by calling 01380 828961 for a delivery price.
Delivery Times
The majority of our products are delivered the next working day (for orders placed before 3pm). However, we do ask that you allow for 3-5 working days to allow for any delay.
Some larger items that require a pallet delivery will usually takes 3-4 days. This would apply to some larger lawnmowers / ride-ons / brushcutters. Please enquire before ordering by calling 01380 828961 for an estimated delivery time
Exceptions
Bank Holiday Weekends - any order received over a bank holiday weekend will usually be delivered on the following Wednesday.
No deliveries are made between Christmas and New Year.
If a particular delivery date is important to you then please do talk to us before placing an order so that we are aware of it. More Than Mowers accept no liability for delayed delivery but we will always endeavour to meet all requests.
Delivery Inspection
We recommend that goods should be inspected before they are signed for, as goods obviously damaged in transit should be REFUSED. Please notify us as soon as possible (preferably within 24 hours) if your goods are found to be damaged.
Guarantee
In addition to your legal rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods, all products come with a manufacturer's warranty of between 1 and 5 years. In the unlikely event that your purchase develops a fault within the warranty period, More Than Mowers will refer you to your local dealership where the product can be examined by qualified technicians and repaired under the terms of the warranty. Customers are advised that the manufacturer's agent will, however, be entitled to refuse to undertake work free of charge in the warranty period if the agent believes damage to the machine has been self-inflicted rather than being the consequence of an actual manufacturing fault.Whilst in your care, machines should be serviced and inspected regularly by a qualified mechanic.
Except for our negligence or breach of contract, any problems that may occur from incorrect assembly are not warrantable, nor are the suppliers culpable. Please take safety seriously.
Privacy Policy
More Than Mowers do not disclose buyers information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' option.If you have any queries on our Privacy Policy please send an email to sales@morethanmowers.co.uk
Returns Policy
CancellationsUnder the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within 7 working days of delivery (starting the day after you receive the goods). This is a UK statutory right.
We, however, extend this and allow a cooling off period of 14 days. This means that you can cancel your order any time for any reason up to 14 days from the date at which you purchased from us.
Should you cancel the contract we will then refund you the price you have paid for the goods including (if applicable) the standard cost of delivery. We will not refund the cost of a service provided by us that you specifically requested, such as a special delivery service. You are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods, which means the goods must be unused.
These rights apply to private consumer sales only.
To cancel your order either write to Melksham Groundcare Machinery ( More Than Mowers), The Workshops, Tan House Farm, Redstocks, Melksham, Wilts , SN12 6RF or email sales@morethanmowers.co.uk. Please provide your order number, the date of purchase, your name and contact details, the item you wish to cancel and the reason.
We will issue any refunds as soon as possible and no later than 30 days after cancellation.
Returns
To return a product either write to Melksham Groundcare Machinery ( More Than Mowers), The Workshops, Tan House Farm, Redstocks, Melksham, Wilts , SN12 6RF or email sales@morethanmowers.co.uk. Please provide your order number, the date of purchase, your name and contact details, the product you wish to return and the reason.
Please note that you may be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty. If we do not receive the goods back from you, we may arrange for collection of the item from you and charge our costs of collection to you.
Items should be returned in an unused condition with the original packaging, together with a valid receipt or other proof of purchase.
These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
