Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete your order.
CREDIT CARDS: We accept Visa , Mastercard , Delta, Maestro and Solo.
CHEQUES: You may also pay by cheque. Payments by cheque should be made payable to 'Melksham Groundcare Machinery' and sent to our main address. Please allow 10 working days for cheques to clear after which goods willl be dispatched (subject to stock availability).

Shipping And Handling Shipping and Handling are included in the price shown - for products going to addresses in mainland England, Wales and Scotland, excluding postcodes shown below - unless otherwise stated in the product description. we recommend that goods should be inspected before they are signed for, as goods obviously damaged in transit should be REFUSED. You must notify us as soon as possible, and ideally within 24 hours if your goods are subsequently found to be damaged.
Unless stated otherwise, all of our products ordered via our website are delivered FREE OF CHARGE to UK Mainland addresses. The price you see for a product is the price you pay,including VAT. Most of our products are delivered on a next working day basis (for orders placed before 3pm)
Exceptions: Larger items that require a pallet delivery usually take 3-4 days.
Currently we can only deliver machinery to UK Mainland addresses. Smaller itmes such as parts can be shipped internationally but are subject ot additional postage.
The method and time of delivery varies by product but the majority of products are dispatched on the same business day if ordered before 3pm for either next working day delivery or delivery within 3-5 days.
There are occasional delivery costs and occasional delays in delivery when delivering to remote areas, notably the Highlands of Scotland and certain areas of Wales and Cornwall.Other instances of Next Working Day Delivery not being possible might be down to extreme circumstances eg. weather conditions or carriers not fulfilling obligations but these would be highly unusual. More Than Mowers accept no liability for delayed delivery.
There are certain exceptions to the above:
Bank Holiday Weekends: Next Day Delivery orders received over a bank holiday weekend will usually be delivered on the following Wednesday. No deliveries are made between Christmas and New Year.
Free delivery is given for internet orders to addresses in mainland England,Wales and Scotland. The following postcodes are excluded from this offer and will incur additional delivery charges ( this is a guide only as oftent he surcharge is less than this and we can give you a quote if you call us before ordering. Parts that can be sent via Royal Mail will not incur any additional postage for UK Mainland) :

Guarantee In addition to your legal rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods, all products come with a manufacturer's warranty of between 1 and 5 years. In the unlikely event that your purchase develops a fault within the warranty period More Than Mowers will refer you to your local dealership where the product can be examined by qualified technicians and repaired under the terms of the warranty. Customers are advised that the manufacturer's agent will however be entitled to refuse to undertake work free of charge in the warranty period if the agent believes damage to the machine has been self-inflicted rather than being the consequence of an actual manufacturing fault.
Whilst in your care, machines should be serviced and inspected regularly by a qualified mechanic.
Except for our negligence or breach of contract, any problems that may occur from incorrect assembly are not warrantable, nor are the suppliers culpable. Please take safety seriously.

Returns Policy Cancellations
Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within 7 working days of delivery (starting the day after you receive the goods). This is a UK statutory right.
We however extend this and allow a cooling off period of 14 days. This means that you can cancel your order any time for any reason up to 14 days from the date at which you purchased from us.
Should you cancel the contract we will then refund you the price you have paid for the goods including the standard cost of delivery. We will not refund the cost of a service provided by us that you specifically requested, such as a special delivery service. You are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods, which means the goods must be unused.
These rights apply to private consumer sales only.

Please provide your order number, the date of purchase, your name and contact details, the item you wish to cancel and the reason.
We will issue any refunds as soon as possible and no later than 30 days after cancellation.

Please provide your order number, the date of purchase, your name and contact details, the product you wish to return and the reason.
Please note that you may be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty. If we do not receive the goods back from you, we may arrange for collection of the item from you and charge our costs of collection to you.
Items should be returned in an unused condition with the original packaging, together with a valid receipt or other proof of purchase.
These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
